I have spent about three years shipping agentic systems into places where mistakes are expensive: logistics and trade finance, healthcare claims, banking and lending. The pattern repeats. The model is rarely the hard part. Latency, token cost, guardrails, and whoever has to sign off on the security posture are the hard part.
At Marlabs I lead the AI Lab, build internal accelerators, and act as sole architect on a ten track US lending and mortgage program. Before that, at BizAmica, I built the first LLM products the company sold, ran the DevOps that shipped them, and trained twenty five or so engineers and interns on APIs, AWS, and LLMs.
